GOOD NEWS for Broken Hearts

June 15th, 2009

I am happy to announce that my E-book Wisdom to Heal and Love Again won two publishing awards.

Indie Award
Winner of the National Indie Excellence Award
Finalist in the Benjamin Franklin Awards.
Indie Award

It was exciting to be in New York during the week of Book Expo and receive this good news.

Hopefully these awards will help to bring my E-book to the attention of those who will benefit from it.  Life is too short to be stuck in heartache, or to become a prisoner of the past, tied to old wounds that prevent you from moving forward.

As I share my do-it-yourself heart healing process in Wisdom to Heal and Love Again, readers discover they are not alone.  Together we find the words for the feelings and learn to face loss, end heartache and heal a broken heart.

Writing, designing and publishing this E-book, designing and planning the websites, including Heart Healing Photography, and learning how to establish an online presence, required all of my time.

Thank you - to those who left their comments on this site while I was working on all of the above.  If you want to submit questions or make further comments - please do so. I look forward to making more frequent posts on this blog site.

And for those who want to share, please tell me the one thing (the main thing) that prevents you from healing your broken heart and moving on.

Sincerely,

Georgia Roulo

PS In some cases, a broken heart turns out to be the best thing that can happen to a person.

“2 out of 3 people who take anti-depressant pills are still depressed”

February 2nd, 2009

I heard this statement on a television commercial.  The advertiser promoted the use of a 2nd anti-depressant pill to take along with the pill that doesn’t work, for a more effective treatment.

I wouldn’t be surprised if both or at least one of those depressed people mentioned above - were suffering from a broken heart.  I bet if these people learned how to face loss, end heartache, heal a broken heart, and move on, they would no longer feel depressed.  And common sense tells me, if they were no longer depressed, they would no longer need to spend their money to buy, and ingest those pills.

I’m not saying people shouldn’t take anti-depressant pills — I am saying when you heal a broken heart you are no longer depressed by your loss.
