“2 out of 3 people who take anti-depressant pills are still depressed”

I heard this statement on a television commercial.  The advertiser promoted the use of a 2nd anti-depressant pill to take along with the pill that doesn’t work, for a more effective treatment.

I wouldn’t be surprised if both or at least one of those depressed people mentioned above - were suffering from a broken heart.  I bet if these people learned how to face loss, end heartache, heal a broken heart, and move on, they would no longer feel depressed.  And common sense tells me, if they were no longer depressed, they would no longer need to spend their money to buy, and ingest those pills.

I’m not saying people shouldn’t take anti-depressant pills — I am saying when you heal a broken heart you are no longer depressed by your loss.

    Georgia,
What do you think a person should do if their doctor prescribes the pills?

  2. Georgia says:

I think whatever information, or prescriptions pass between a doctor and a patient is their business, and not mine. I do not offer medical advice, write prescriptions for chemicals, or suggest people stop taking their medication. I am not a doctor, therapist, or psychiatrist. I am a heart healing mentor whose book and conversations guide people through a do-it-yourself heart healing process.

  3. Georgia,

Thank you for sharing some of your life story.
I am wondering who this e-book is for?
I am also wondering who is the population?
    What are your credentials?
I think that the strength of your e-book is in the masterful and spiritual photographs. I would definitely seperate the photos into a photo book or e-book and have participants project on them what they are thinking/feeling.A wonderful place for people to be expressive. Seems like a wonderful place for people to ease their pain. I love the photographs.
    P. 43…I have never heard the word, “pre-treat”. What does it mean?
Since you are a mentor telling your story and giving advice, I would tend
to not get into medical suggestions. There are many people suffering w/brain disorders that MUST have medication.

    P. 48-here is where the book resonates for me. When you go into nature I can connect.
The “birds eye view’ is sensational. Could win a contest. It is humorous and
tender. All of your questions do not bring answers, nor should they. The
examined life is where we gain insights and new perceptions. I feel there is a lot of melancoly in your book.
Your common sense page feels like one would be at a l2 step meeting.
    Those are their words..
I again encoruage you to do a seperate book of only phtotography with titles so the readers can feel the confort and warmth of the photos and projcect their own intimate feelings. We are not to preach we are here to guide.
The true power may be in the affirmation of the self.
page 99-here is where you take your own ownership and that is devine.
    YOu affirm your self
l28-will yourself to act. What does this mean?
132-I cannot honestly relive your experience with you. I thin k that we grow at developmental stages (your photos). So much is about the power of the other in your book, this boyfriend, this other, this man managing a life.
Your affirmations are in your photos.

I have irises growing all over my back yard.
    Thank you for sharing

I would like to have a set of the photos to use in my work as a warm-up.

The book feels like it is Georgia’s journey.
Your book feels like something that I would pick up at a Unity church program.
Could be a wonderful place for your story to be heard. Unity church.
p.34 This is extremely touching. Did you know that a hand held at the heart chakra is expressing emotion. Deep emotion.

      Hi Lorelei,

You ask “who is this E-book written for” — I think many people with different types of heartbreaking experiences will benefit from it.

I suspect the most ideal reader for Wisdom to Heal and Love Again —might be someone who is
      • at the height of their pain and suffers from a broken heart
      • in shock because the one they love is leaving, and they don’t know why
      • tangled in a state of confusion and trying to find a way out
      • looking for the words to express their feelings and fears
      • determined to learn how to end the pain
      • wondering what type of feelings tomorrow will bring
      • not able to imagine what it would feel like to be healed, happy, and free to love again without fear

It is for this reader that I wrote the book to address all of the above issues.

When I was in the heart of my emotional storm, suffering from a broken heart, I looked everywhere for a book that would guide me through a do-it-yourself heart healing process. I longed to see an example of how someone else might handle the feelings of their experience while they healed their heart. I couldn’t find the type of book I needed, and that was when my quest turned into a passion to write the book myself. As I learned how to master the heart healing process, it became my goal to one day make this book available for others who need and want to heal themselves.

Some people use my E-book as an emotional dress rehearsal. It becomes a way for them to take a leave of absence from their depression, and become familiar with what is required and how good it feels to be healed and free.

By me sharing my heart-earned-experience with you - you realize you are not alone, and you can do it too. On my book’s website http://www.WisdomToHealAndLoveAgain.com there are letters to Men, Women, Young Adults, and Prisoners of the Past – to suggest others in different types of situations who could possibly benefit from my book.

“What are your credentials?” For years I helped millions of people communicate their feelings through my nationally distributed Feeling Sensitive ™ Greeting Cards “For those with the feelings in search of the words™”

Also, I wrote the multi-award winning E-book titled
Wisdom to Heal and Love Again
Learn to face loss, end heartache and heal a broken heart

This e-book gives the reader a clear and solid example of one way to heal a broken heart. In addition, I successfully guide and mentor others on a one-to-one basis through their do-it-yourself heart-healing process.

Soon I will be offering Tele-seminars to dive deeper into the healing process.

“I would definitely separate the photos into a photo book …”

A photo book is available for those who want to use it for their specific healing projections. Most recently my brother used it to help himself prepare and get through his open heart by-pass, and the recovery afterwards.

Each of the 36 photos featured in the book are available in different sizes and in various types of quality prints. There are different bindings available for the whole collection. Visit http://www.HeartHealingPhotography.com to see the E-book collection of photographs.

Pg 42 “I never heard the word, “pre-treat” what does it mean?”

I use this word to describe a time when I know a big challenge is ahead, and I bring something into my life that will bring me comfort and joy, and help me get through the day, week, or project. The one thing that never fails to make me smile, bring beauty into my life, lift my spirit, and raise the energy of my space is a bouquet of fresh flowers.

“Your common sense page feels like it would be at a 12 step meeting. Those are their words.”

I think you’re referring to my Heart Healing Prayer, I agree it would work well at a 12-step meeting. However my prayer is not their words.

“128 – … will yourself to act. What does this mean?”

Will yourself to act means you make yourself do that which you know you need to do. The following quote might say it best

“Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not.”
Thomas Hexley (1825-1895, British Biologist, Educator)

“132 … so much is about the power of the other in your book”

In the beginning stages of a broken heart — that is what it feels like, and the first few chapters in my E-book reflect this reality. It is a dance of moving forward two steps, and falling back three. In the beginning you hold on and try to understand — you think you’re strong and then you are not. Going from heartbreak to an oasis of acceptance is never a straight and smooth line. In fact it is sometimes the line of MOST resistance. The beginning part of the book shows the power and depth of the relationship ending and the feelings that one often goes through in order to let go completely, and cross the finish line.

Thank you for your questions. I hope my answers clarify these points.
      Sincerely,
      Georgia
